Bridgeport introduces the 840 Series low profile strobe light. This Type 4X strobe is available in five colors: amber, blue, clear, green and red.
The 840T features a popular two hole design for wall or flush mounting. The 840T includes a surface gasket to complete the Type 4X installation.
All units feature a threaded screw-on lens for easy strobe-tube replacement. The screw-on lens can be made tamperproof by simply tightening an installed screw in the base of the lens. The strobe tube is rated for 7000 hours.
All units operate on 120VAC. The state of the art strobe mechanism produces 2.2 joules of energy, while drawing relatively low level amperage.
Bridgeport 840 Series strobes feature high-quality, long-life strobe lamps that are designed to reduce tungsten build-up for longer lamp life. Careful consideration is given to the relationship between lamp shape and lens design in order to achieve maximum light output and brilliance. Bridgeport 840 Series Strobe Lights make use of surface mount technology which produces a more powerful light in a much smaller package. The dry-electrolyte capacitor used in the 840 Series runs cooler than those used in many competitive strobes, resulting in a more reliable product that won't fail due to overheating.
Bridgeport strobe lights are particularly effective in high noise areas where ear protection must be worn and audible signals may not be heard or understood. They can advise personnel in manufacturing, process control and warehouse areas when an operation is starting or stopping or to signal equipment malfunction.
