AC/MC/FMC Connectors

Application

New "U" shaped strap connectors are suitable for use with:

• 571-DC2, 1/2" steel or aluminum FMC or 8/2 to 6/3 (0.63" to 0.94" AC, MC cable.
• 572-DC2, 3/4" steel or aluminum FMC or 4/3 to 3/4 (1.04" to 1.12") AC, MC cable.
• 573-DC2, 1" steel or aluminum FMC or 2/3 to 2/0-3 (1.18" to 1.44") AC, MC cable.

Special features include:

• "U" shaped steel strap to secure conduit or cable between convolutions in two locations.
• 2-way combination head screw may be tightened with flat or Phillips screwdriver.
• Suitable for grounding when installed in accordance with the NEC.
• Concrete-Tight when taped.

Easy assembly of cable or conduit:

• Push cable or conduit to end stop.
• Tighten single screw with strap between convolutions.
