HANDS-FREE Swivel Fixture Hangers
Application
HANDS-FREE ball type swivel fixture covers are suitable for mounting
pendant or fluorescent lighting fixtures to ceiling box.
Use HFSFS-75 for steel 4" square box or HFSFR-75 for steel 4"
round or octagon box with lamps up to 50 pounds and 20°
maximum swing from vertical. Tapped for use with 3/4" thread and
furnished with 3/4" X 1/2" steel reducing bushing.
Reduce installation cost with simple one-person assembly:
-Feed fixture wires through pivot ball. Tighten pivot ball onto pipe nipple.
-Secure Cover to box.
-Lift fixture, pipe nipple, pivot ball and nest into cradle in cover, align
slot in pivot ball with "T" shaped tab. With screwdriver push in "T" shaped
Lok-Tab into slot in pivot ball.
-Secure wire connections, place wires in box. Close cover and secure with screw.
Zinc plated malleable iron swivel with zinc plated steel cover.
